We had the pleasure of sponsoring Tay (or as her foster mom likes to call her Tay-ter Tot) and Autumn (pictured below), the cute little Shepherd/Husky mix for training at the GSDC of Minneapolis/St. Paul Workshop. When dogs go into foster homes, the fosters do all the work and when you have awesome fosters like Mary and Amber who go the extra mile to get their fosters ready for their forever homes it’s just a win, win! We were very happy to play a small part in this guys new life. His name is Oakley and he was lucky enough to have Rescued Pets are Wonderful say yes to him when he needed rescue. So many people took time out of their day to transport him from Fergus Falls to the cities. How we helped: foster (thank you Paula) food, toys, treats and a new collar and leash.
Oakley was brought into Rescued Pets Are Wonderful a few months ago and we were lucky enough to help him along the way until his forever family was found, today that happened! Oakley’s new parents are both deemed “essential” workers during this difficult time and we are sure he will bring them lots of comfort now and for many years to come
Our first “rescue wishes” box was delivered thanks to Sue Ellen Strohecker. Sue chose this Organization because she supports them and believes in what they do. Thank you so much Sue for making their day just a little bit brighter, while they await their forever homes!
Our second “rescue wishes” box was successfully delivered to these cuties, thanks to Susan Keller! Looks like fun was had by all!
More “rescue wishes” were delivered today by Susan Keller and some other great volunteers. Toys, treats and walks all on Christmas Day!
Jess and Major took a ride to deliver their “rescue wishes” box to the Babinski Foundation in Pequot Lakes, MN. The Babinski Foundation is a private non-profit animal shelter. Thanks Jess and Major for delivering the wishes so the dogs in their care can have a little bit of sunshine today!
Our last rescue wish box of 2019 was distributed by Jayne Hunter-Holden who chose Northeast Texas Rescue Organization. Dalton, the stunning GSD miracle, who was found abandoned and in horrible condition and lots of puppies enjoyed some toys and treats (along with a lot of kisses and play time). Thank you Nancy, Jayne and all the fosters who are making a difference in so many animals' lives!

Meet Hans the adorable GSD who is looking for a new home. Hans is almost 3 years old, his birthday is November 11th and his wish is to have a new forever home. Hans has been in his current home for about one year, a good man took him in after his first owner got to busy for him. Why is he being rehomed you ask? Although Hans is good with other dogs, his current home has 2 other intact males, Hans gets along with the 14 month old male, but he can clash a bit with the older 7 year old male and the owner wants what is best for Hans so asked for our help. Hans loves people and has been good with the owners grandkids, he is kennel trained and knows his basic obedience. If you are interested in Hans, please reach out to us.
