Lisa is the founder and the reason Skylar's Scholarships exists. She is the heart and soul of this organization. She has been involved in animal rescue for many years in many different capacities. Her passion and goal is to help as many rescue dogs in need as she can and founding this organization is her first step in achieving her goal.

Carol is fairly new to the rescue world but has loved and owned German Shepherds most of her adult life. She was asked to be a part of this organization and has jumped in with both feet and can't wait to help do all the great work she knows this organization is capable of.

Rhonda has owned and trained German Shepherd Dogs for 30+ years in obedience, agility, rally, trick dog and behaviors, perimeter guard dogs and therapy dogs. The GSD pictured with Rhonda here (Smith) is the #1 AKC titled GSD in the State of Minnesota with 51 titles. Smith also earned the 2015 GSDCA Agility Victor Champion. In addition t

In addition to the many earned titles, Rhonda is a member of and has chaired several of the local dog clubs. Rhonda has also volunteered her time and knowledge of dog training behaviors with law enforcement officers and is currently a board member of the Minneapolis Police K9 Foundation.

also been involved with animal rescues, animal training, animal
recovery, animal assessment, and animal sitting/walking for many
years in many different capacities. She is very passionate about the
breed and loves helping dogs in need. Marley, the GSD pictured here
with her, is the

for the last 11 years, and Dawn found her passion.
